Wine Tasting
Slyne-with-Hest Memorial Hall are thrilled to present a wine tasting evening of wines perfect for Christmas, hosted by Runner Duck Wine Room of Lancaster, Saturday 22nd November 2025

Doors will open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

Would you like to join The Friends of Slyne-with-Hest Memorial Hall?

The Memorial Hall is popular venue for a wide range of community groups as well as public and private family functions. It is run by a charitable trust and all the running costs come out of the room hire fees. Since the fuel price increases, it is becoming more difficult to maintain the room hire prices at a level people can afford, whilst continuing to pay the bills and repair charges. The trustees are looking at ways to improve the carbon footprint of the hall and thereby reduce the heating costs.

If you value this village asset and would like to help by making a small annual donation, it would be a valued contribution to preserve this community building within our midst.
